Les recordamos que la equivalencia entre los grupos y los cursos escolares es orientativa.
Aquellos que no sepan qué grupo se les ha asignado, pueden pasar por la academia a consultar los listados o llamar por teléfono.
Aquellos que deseen anular la matrícula porque no les conviene el horario asignado podrán hacerlo hasta el día 20 de septiembre, previa presentación del recibo. (Si no pudieran pasar por la academia, llamen por teléfono para que se tenga en cuenta la anulación y se les pueda reembolsar el dinero). Fuera del plazo indicado, no se harán devoluciones.

Las clases comenzarán el día 1 de octubre.
El plazo de matrícula sigue abierto hasta el comienzo de las clases o hasta que los grupos estén llenos. Les recordamos que los alumnos serán admitidos por riguroso orden de matriculación y que la pre-inscripción no les asegura la plaza pues el número de alumnos por grupo es limitado.
Los horarios definitivos se publicarán el próximo día 15 de septiembre.
Los alumnos nuevos tendrán que realizar un examen de nivel antes de comenzar el curso. (Se les llamará para avisarles de la fecha y la hora).
Aunque todo esto ya lo saben porque lo habrán leído en la documentación entregada, vamos con unos consejos de última hora.
No se olviden de su documentación:
- Pasaporte
- DNI
- Tarjeta sanitaria europea
- Autorización de menores para viajar (los que la tengan en su poder). La mayoría ya están de nuestra mano.
Teléfono: es imprescindible que lleven uno y que antes de salir le activen el "roaming".
La tarifa de datos en más cara en en extranjero que aquí, así que es aconsejable que los que tienen conexión a internet la desactiven y aprovechen los lugares con wi-fi abierta para conectarse.
No olviden memorizar en su teléfono, antes de salir, los números de Miguel, de Chiqui, de su familia anfitriona y el número de emergencia del ICE.
Ropa:
- lleven algo de abrigo (jersey, chaqueta/sudadera)
- lleven algo para la lluvia (un paraguas o un chubasquero)
- lleven ropa deportiva y calzado cómodo.
- pueden llevar bañador (Malahide tiene playa)
Pueden consultar el tiempo que hará en Malahide los próximos días. (Pinchen en enlace)
Aseo:
- lleven su gel de baño, champú, pasta de dientes ... Es probable que la familia no les proporcione estas cosas.
Recuerden que necesitarán un adaptador de corriente (en caso de traer aparatos eléctricos)
Cuidado con el equipaje: atentos a las restricciones de peso (máximo 20 kilos en la maleta facturada y UN SOLO bulto de mano que no exceda los 10 kilos) No llenen la maleta en el viaje de ida, dejen hueco para el de vuelta.
Lleven un pequeño detalle a la familia anfitriona.
No necesitan hacer cambio de moneda. En Irlanda se usa el euro. Es verdad que visitaremos Belfast y allí usan la libra esterlina. Sin embargo, la mayoría de las tiendas aceptan euros y además el que esté interesado puede cambiar una pequeña cantidad en Malahide.
Si tienen alguna duda, recuerden que pueden llamarnos a cualquier hora. No obstante, nosotros les llamaremos el viernes.

Last week I told one of my student groups we were about to start unit 9 in their book "English in Mind" (CUP). One girl flicked through her textbook, then she recognized a picture and said 'Hey, teacher, I know those guys. I've seen some videos about them on youtube'
So I thought 'Why not? Let's start the lesson watching one of those videos.'

The foot bones are the basement of your skeleton. There are twenty two bones in your foot.
The foot bones are connected to the ankle bone.Without

The leg bone is actually two bones (the tibia and the fibula)
The knee bone is also known as the kneecap or patella.
The thigh bone or femur is the largest and heaviest bone in your body. The top of the femur has a ball joint that moves with a socket in the pelvis.
The hip bone or pelvis is made up of six bones.
The backbone or spinal column is made up of twenty-four vertebrae. The last four bones in your backbone form the coccyx. The most important job of the backbone is to protect your spinal cord.
The shoulder bone is made up of a team of three bones, the clavicle, scapula and the top of the humerus.
The neck bone is a continuation of the backbone or spine. It is made up of seven vertebrae called cervical vertebrae.
The head bone or skull is like a box that grows. The skull, which is made up of twenty-nine bone, protects your brain when you stand on your head
When we are born we have more than 300 bones, but when we reach adulthood we only have 206. This is because many of the bones in the skull grow together.
